Taking the expertise of working with thousands of charities and churches throughout the UK, Saltmine has extensive experience in working internationally, particularly in Bulgaria. Saltmine has also worked and supported projects in India, Africa and in recent months worked in Tanzania and Malawi. Partnering with NGO’s, Saltmine raises money for these projects and helps to support them through their theatrical activities. Saltmine staff also visit these nations and train local leaders in the areas of creativity, drama and theatre. A children’s festival was held in the city of Mwanza at the beginning 2008 with hundreds of children attending this event. Drama workshops took place, which gives a great opportunity to communicate messages of hope and life. |
