Our ethos is rooted in our faith in Jesus Christ and in His love, which compels us to serve others. Ephesians 3:16-18 says, “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ…” This motivates us in our relationships and our faith directs and influences both our relationships and our work with those whom Saltmine serves. Our activities are an outworking of our faith. The link between who we are Christians and what we do can never be broken. It is through our relationships with each other and those whom we serve that we practice our ethos. Our policies, code of conduct and procedures are built upon Biblical principals. There are many role models from Biblical days that The Saltmine Trust (the Charity) could adopt for its ministry. However, Moses and Paul are people that typify the ministry of the Charity and all employees must endeavour to “live” this ethos. To fulfil this insofar as our people are concerned, will mean each one involved in the ministry of the Charity:
