FAITH MOTIVATED ARTS
Welcome to Saltmine!
Throughout history humanity has always loved a story. A story has the power to engage, equip and bring hope. Our aim is to inspire all generations through theatre, media and interactive teaching. We seek to tell God’s story and values with grace, truth and an inclusive heart to all.
Saltmine’s vision is to be a Centre of Excellence, Releasing, Empowering and Equipping Faith through the Creative Arts.
| DISTINCTIVE INCLUSIVE TRANSFORMATIONAL |
| SERVANT HEARTED INNOVATIVE |
These are our key value words, which we aspire to live by and see evident in all that we do whether here at our office base or out on the road. In just 12 months, Saltmine staged 460 performances of 18 different productions to around 82,000 children, young people and adults.
Rachael Orrell, CEO says “We aim to bring faith through the arts to life and we believe theatre is an incredible medium – both to creatively communicate God’s story and to spark hope and purpose. We aim for excellence and believe in the power of story, and use it to make a real difference for the good.”
We have a great team made up of 11 actors, 2 technicians and an office admin team of 7 people who want to grow in their gifting and be used to make a positive difference in our world today.
