Who Do you Say I am?
Focusing on the lives of three young people, Alex, Chris and Dean, this story explores how they become inextricably linked in a tragic knife crime incident. As we follow each of their journeys towards adulthood we watch the unstoppable consequences of the choices they make, and we are forced to confront the decisions we take in our own lives.
Accompanied by a workshop, this powerful drama highlights and looks at the links between issues such as drug addiction, knife crime, desensitisation to violence, social stereotyping and personal identity. It seeks to uncover the rationale behind carrying a weapon. The production is suitable for secondary school year groups, and lasts 50 minutes to fit inside a standard lesson. The workshop can be tailored to suit each school’s requirements.
